Mastermind Engineering of Keller, Texas (DFW area) was founded in 2019 by Nate Bernklau. Nate has been a problem solver, inventor, and product developer from a young age. His early years offered many design opportunities on the family farm and later at his father's tractor restoration shop. He earned engineering degrees from Oral Roberts Univerisity (BSE 03) and The University of Tulsa (MSME 05). After a brief time at American Airlines, he accepted a new product development role in John Deere's crop harvesting group in 2006. At Deere, he learned global product development and manufacturing while delivering winning products.  He completed a graduate certificate program at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT SDM 18). In 2019 he joined Bell Flight where he supported the Bell 360 Invictus and V-280 Valor programs. In 2023 he joined Kubota North America as a Sr. Research Technologist. Through his experience and career-spanning network,  Nate has been able to help companies and entrepreneurs realize and solidify their ideas time after time.
